Carlos Guinand is an entrepreneur and one of the founders of Sonnedix, a global solar Independent Power Producer (IPP) with a proven track record in delivering high-performance cost competitive solar photovoltaic plants to the market.
Jean Lucius

Jean is the former CEO of the Luxembourg-based utility, Encevo S.A., which is active in Luxembourg, Germany, France and Belgium in the field of power and gas grids, renewables and energy sales.

Mark Scarsella
Shareholder Representative Member of the Board
Mark is an investment principal within the Infrastructure Investments Group of J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Global Alternative business, based in London. He is primarily responsible for leading the Group’s investment and asset management activity across Europe having joined the firm in 2013.

Marta Martínez is the CEO of Cero Generation, the Macquarie Solar platform in Europe, as well as a reputable non-executive director and senior advisor for several companies owned by different international infrastructure and private equity funds.

2017 Ventient was launched.
Combination of UK assets previously owned by Infinis and Zephyr for a total of 34 onshore wind farms in the UK.

2018
Ventient is awarded the highest 5-star GRESB rating.

2019
2019 Mark Jones appointed CEO.
Ventient acquires 69 wind farm portfolios across continental Europe.
Ventient owns 103 onshore wind farms and 1.9GW of installed capacity across Spain, Portugal, France and Belgium, Germany and UK.
Ventient is awarded the highest 5-star GRESB rating and recognised with “Sector Leader” status.

2020
Ventient acquires Portuguese owner and operator Iberwind adding 31 wind farms to its portfolio and integrating the Portuguese team into the organisation.
Ventient is awarded the highest 5-star GRESB rating and retains “Sector Leader” status.

2021
Ventient is the largest non-utility onshore wind generator in Europe, managing 135 windfarms and 2.6GW of installed capacity.

2022
Ventient acquires 203MW of onshore wind and 240MW of solar capacity in the Spanish region of Castilla y Leon, reinforcing Ventient’s progression in the energy transition; combining wind and other technologies.
Ventient achieves 100 in the GRESB ratings, ranking 1st overall for all 3 categories: GRESB Score, Management Score and Performance Score, alongside receiving a 5-star GRESB rating, and achieving Sector Leader status for the fourth time.
