
Kevin McCullough
Chief Executive Officer
Kevin has held numerous positions at board level in the power and utility sectors and has been responsible for some of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK.
Kevin started his career at Ferrybridge B Power Station in 1984, where he secured his first full-time job after leaving school as an Auxiliary Plant Attendant with the Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB), forerunner to National Grid plc. He worked his way through the power and utility sectors to hold several positions at board level, including Managing Director at National Wind Power, Chief Operating Officer at RWE npower, Chairman at Horizon Nuclear Power, and Chief Executive Officer at Calon Energy.
Kevin has led large infrastructure projects within the energy sector, including major Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCGT) Power Station development, construction, and operation, both in the UK and the US, as well as the development and construction of large-scale offshore wind projects in the UK, and multiple onshore wind and hydro projects throughout Europe.
In recent years, Kevin has served in a number of advisory and Non-Executive positions in both the public and private sector, and currently sits as an Independent Non-Executive Director with UK Transition Power Ltd, while also acting as a Senior Advisor to PA Consulting Ltd. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, and Kevin is a Fellow of both the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and the Energy Institute.
