From supply chains to permitting, grids and sustainability, finance and resource assessment, the 2023 WindEurope Conference is packed full of content on every aspect of wind energy today, and includes input from across the sector, policy, NGOs and elsewhere.
With not all of the objectives set out in the EU’s energy response to the current crisis, REPowerEU, not deployed on the ground, there will be a strong focus on how to deliver a rapid buildout of wind and overcome the major obstacles.
Ventient’s Head of Organic Growth, Azahar Gomez will join colleagues from ENEL Green Power, WindEurope, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Edora and Dirkshof in a discussion on ‘Repowering: pick the low hanging fruit’ at 14:00 on Wednesday 26th April.
Following a scene-setting presentation by WindEurope analysts, the discussion will centre on how Europe will need to increase its wind capacity in the coming years and secure its existing assets to achieve the EU’s renewables targets. With repowering representing one of the solutions, the speakers will discuss the outlook for repowering projects in Europe and how we can ensure that repowering rates increase.
