Wellbeing, inclusive work practices and policies are at the heart of what we do. DEI is part of our DNA. It provides an anchor for our long-term business strategy and permeates through our day to day culture where people of all backgrounds can thrive. We are constantly re-evaluating and analysing what we do through transparent feedback to ensure we are always listening, improving and enhancing our culture and how we work.

Our approach to DEI starts with our board and flows through the entire business. We are proud of the way we work, we love our strong recognition and reward culture. We listen and we want a prime People Strategy as people are at the top of our agenda.

Our people can carve out successful careers supported by our rich learning and development programmes, open doors policies, and opportunities across the company.

Stronger communities

Safety Report Scheme
For us safety is a duty towards people. We are committed to create a healthy and safe environment for our people, our partners and our communities. That’s why we have created the Safety Report Scheme. Our team and partners are called to consistently and carefully assess health and safety throughout all their operations. Any detection of a health and safety improvement need is reported back. Each report becomes a donation to our chosen charities.

Community Benefit Fund
In 2019 we contributed over £1.7m to local initiatives. The funds helped to improve services and facilities for people in 35 local communities, and contributed to environmental, cultural and educational activities.

Local Support
During the covid-19 pandemic, we also supported local food banks with donations for vulnerable people and those who were self-isolating.
