The wind farm opened in January 1997 and has an installed capacity of 2.4MW. It was acquired from E.ON UK plc in January 2011. Rheidol has a strong operational track record with an average load factor of approximately 29% and its 8 turbines, rated at 300kW, generate enough power to supply 1,908 homes* with electricity.
