The wind farm is just 1 mile north east of the town centre on the B6301 and is built on an area of open cast land that’s been restored to a mix of heathland and agriculture.
Tow Law’s 3 turbines, which came into service in December 2001, are rated at 770kW, giving the site an installed capacity of 2.31MW with the ability to generate enough energy to power 1,836 homes*.
